Fr. Lipscomb Conversion Testimony

Father John Lipscomb has served the Diocese of St. Petersburg (DOSP) since his ordination to the Catholic priesthood in 2009. Prior to entering the Catholic Church in 2008, he was an ordained minister in the Episcopal Church for over 30 years. From 1996-2007, he was the Episcopal Bishop of Southwest Florida. Father Lipscomb holds degrees from the University of North Carolina, the University of the South, and the Graduate Theological Foundation. In 2021, he was appointed Director of Formation for aspirants to the Order of Deacon in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Father Lipscomb will be speaking at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Thursday, February 23 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Conesa Center Hall. He will speaking on his journey to becoming a Catholic Priest in the DOSP.
