The Prince of Peace community came together to wish our very own Bryan Mando a happy retirement. Bryan has served as Facilities Supervisor for almost 8 years and is a beloved member of the staff and parish community.
Bryan said in an emotional speech that this "has been the best job a guy could ask for." Parishioners clapped and wished him well as Bryan held back tears in appreciation. Father Kovanis even led everyone in a rendition of For He's A Jolly Good Fellow.
"I said I wasn't going to cry but I guess it's good to be emotional about stuff that's so meaningful,"
Bryan said about the warm reception he was shown. Parishioners gathered together to share some fond memories of Bryan's time. One parishioner remarked that Bryan hated the Knights fish fries in the beginning but quickly he became the man who was running food, cooking, and doing everything he could to help out.
Bryan will be missed by all for his hard work, dedication, and his joyful personality.
